[a] Dedicated to Agnolo dal Canto, the tomb likely was installed in conjunction with the death of his first wife on June 9th, 1340.
[b] The Santa Maria Necrology records donna Ghilla's death, though gives her father-in-law's name as Dino instead of Vanni. Presumably she was buried in the dal Canto tomb.
[c] The necrology of Santa Maria Novella indicates that mona Lena was buried in the church, presumably in her father's tomb.
