  • [a] According to Barker (74n25), Cosimo Quistelli was buried in Santa Maria Maggiore, citing ASF, Ufficiali poi magistratura della Grascia, vol. 191 (1544-60), fol. 124r. Cosimo's parents were living in this parish at the time of his death, and we presume he was buried in a parish tomb.
  • [b] Gravedigger records indicate that Cosimo was buried in his parish church of Santa Maria Maggiore. Whether it was in this or another tomb remains unknown.
