Fra Giovanni Angelo conceived of the idea of a chapel for the use of the Compagnia del Disegno in the old chapter house of his home convent of Santissima dell'Annunziata, but he did not live to see it take shape, having died two years prior to the notarial deed that granted ius patronatus to the academy.
