  • [a] Neri was Podestà of Prato in 1278 and again in 1280.
  • [b] Nerli served as ambassador to Lucca in 1291 helping to negotiate a peace between them and the Pisans.
  • [c] Nerli returned to Pisa where he served as Ambassador in May and June of 1295.
  • [d] In addition to holding the title of Captain of War (Capitano di guerra) in 1295, Nerli served as Podestà in Volterra.
