  • [a] Given that Costantia's parents married only in 1314, she cannot have been married and then die in 1318. Moreover, while the "olim" in the record could refer to Costanza's having left her father's house for her husband's, it usually indicates a deceased father, and M. Falcone did not die until 1344. There is also no Lapo di Deo della Trita Adimari in their family trees, further suggesting some errors of transcription.
  • [b] Wives usually were buried in tombs belonging to their husbands, but it is possible that Costantia requested burial in the Falconi family tomb in their transept chapel. She was buried wearing the Dominican habit.
