Notes

  • [a] Niccolo da Filicaia had been drawn for the Sixteen on April 28th, and he died in office on May 21st.
  • [b] Niccolaio's name was put into the 1381 scrutiny bag for the Twelve as "ritagliator."
  • [c] Niccolaio was first elected as Wool Guild consul on August 14th, 1394, presumably the same guild that allowed his name had been placed in the scrutiny bag of 1381.
  • [d] It is likely that Niccolaio was buried in the tomb his father established that was later inherited by his son Piero.
