Hic iacet discretus vir ser Nerius de Cedernellis rector Ecclesiae Sancti Romuli migravit ad Dominum anno Domini MCCCII indicitione XV die XIIII decembris anima cuius requiescat in pace

Translation

Here lies the distinguished man ser Neri from the Cedernelli family, rector of the church of San Romolo. He departed to the Lord in the year of the Lord 1302 during the 15th indiction on day 14 of December, whose soul may rest in peace.

Given that the 15th Indiction fell in 1302, rather than in 1300 (ind. XIII), the tombstone must have been damaged at the date. as suggested by one of the two drawings in Baldovinetti's sepoltuario.
