Novissime autem eius descendentes de tanto progenitore optime merentes in eum pietatis causa Baccius Rodulphi Simonis, Rodulphus Simonis Rodulphi primi Simonis filii, ac Simon et Petrus Laurentiiangeli eiusdem primi Simonis filii restaurarunt. Qui quidem Simon fuit oriundus ex Johanne Simonis Georgii Augustini Lapi superioris

Translation

To the best and greatest God.
The tomb of the freeborn man [Lapo] son of Bruno of the noble Formiconi family who when he lived for a long time and honorably after the year 1300 from the incarnation of Our Lord Jesus Christ was at rest in this place. Very recently however, his descendants, of so great an progenitor, [having rights after him] for the sake of loyalty, Baccio son of Ridolfo of Simone, Ridolfo son of Simone of Ridolfo of the first Simone, and also Simone and Piero brothers and sons of Lorenzagnolo son of the very same first Simone, restored the tomb. That same Simone was born from Giovanni son of Simone son of Giorgio son of Agostino son of Lapo the eldest.
