  • [a] Though this "archa" tomb is noted in the 1439 sepoltuario as belonging to messer Alamanno Adimari, the inscription uses his family's adopted surname Cavicciuli and new coat of arms, suggesting it was refashioned around the time this branch of the Adimari adopted a new name. Nineteenth-century photographs show the casket on columns at the eastern end of the loggia along the south flank of the church, indicating it had been moved after the demolition of the first cloister's eastern boundary in 1869.
