  • [a] Both the slab and the pier marker carry inscriptions.
  • [b] The standard Bardi arms appear on the tomb slab in small shields at the corners of the border and a single large shield at the center of the slab, all made with inlaid yellow and red stone. On the eastern face of the pier above is a stone marker that shows the family arms with a stemmed rose to the right of the band of lozenges.
