Notes

  • [a] The Salviati family had two tombs along the western edge of the north transept, as recorded in the sepoltuario of 1439. This one was described as an unfinished grave and identified as the place of burial of M. Jacopo Salviati, who died in 1412. His son Alamanno founded a chapel between 1446 and 1447 that opened off of the western edge of the north transept, and his grandson Jacopo endowed the construction of two tombs inside of the chapel in his will of 1458.
  • [b] A sepoltuario dated 1440 lists Alamanno as an owner of his father's tomb
  • [c] A sepoltuario dated 1440 lists Bernardo as an owner of his father's tomb
  • [d] A sepoltuario dated 1440 lists Jacopo as an owner of his father's tomb
