[a] Doralynn Pines believes the tomb was installed soon after Catellino's death in February 1342, which was inscribed on the tomb as "MCCCXXXXI die 17 febr." according to the Florentine calendar.
[b] Antonella Chiti argues that the tomb slab in its current condition dates to the early fifteenth century even though it commemorates Catellino who died in 1341.
