[a] A tomb belonging to Amerigo's father had been in this spot at the foot of the second pier dividing the nave from the left aisle near the holy water stoup. The 1596 sepoltuario records the refurbished tomb which included an inscription, now lost, honoring Bartolo's son Amerigo.
