Notes

  • [a] The nineteenth-century copy of the 1439 sepoltuario records 1298 while Stefano Rosselli transcribed MCCCLXXXXIIII (1294). The stone seems to indicate MCCCLXXXXVIII
  • [b] A tomb dedicated to Maso Unganelli and his sons appears twice in all the sepoltuari without indicating that it had been moved from one portion of the cemetery to the other. While it seems very unlikely that he installed two tombs with the same inscription, we cannot discount that he did, perhaps one for the women of his clan and one for the men as was common among elites in the dugento and trecento. However, these tombs were specific in identifying the gender of their intended burials.
