Notes

  • [a] A group of tombs were discovered in 1690 within the nuns' enclosure, excavated, and installed in the wall of the so-called Corticina de Preti, which may refer to the vaulted hall along the exterior of Santa Felicita where this tomb marker is installed today. Lorenzo Mariani (1665-1739) added them as an addendum to his copy of Rosselli's sepoltuario now kept at the Accademia Toscana di Scienze e Lettere "La Colombaria" (IT ATSL MS 53.7, fol. 426v-476v), which likely served as the basis for the copy in the Archivio di Stato di Firenze (Manoscritti 625), likely made by Giovanni Battista Dei (1702-89).
  • [b] Though the ASFi Rosselli copy dates the tomb 13 Agosto 1300, the stone reads 1360 (MCCCLX).
