  • [a] Bartolommeo was the last male in his family line, and he left rights to the family altar and tomb to his guild, whose arms were present on the altar in 1606.
  • [b] Though Francesco della Foresta did not identify the guild arms and Stefano Rosselli guessed that they belonged to the furriers, as drawn, they match those of the reconfigured guild of Leatherworkers formed in 1583.
