Notes

  • [a] Palla di Carlo has been credited with participating in the renovation of the Strozzi family chapel in the south aisle of S. Trinita. The project is dated 1603 to 1609, its commencement coinciding with Palla's death, suggesting that his contribution was a testamentary bequest.
  • [b] Piero di Palla di Carlo Strozzi may be one of the unnamed heirs of Piero di Pandolfo Strozzi responsible for completing the renovation of the family chapel in the south aisle of Santa Trinita. Whether he took on the project from the start around 1603, or only after Piero's death in 1607, is not presently known.
