[a] Given the form of the door and style of the arms, they were likely placed in conjunction with the church's foundation by Cav. Bindo di Lapo Benini in 1373.
[b] Bindo di Lapo Benini stated that he built the church of the Gerosolimitani and further endowed it in his testament of 14 February 1374. He died in 1376.
