  • [c] As patron and founder of the church, Bindo di Lapo Benini placed the Squarcialupi arms in honor of his wife's birth family. Lionarda Squarcialupi may have been involved in the commission as well.

Giovanni Gerosolimitano at the request of his brother, a member of the Gerosolimitani, and credit for the high altar and altarpiece go to him. It has been identified as the triptych with three saints now in the National Gallery, London.
