Notes

  • [a] Given the lack of date in what Rosselli suggests was an tomb inscription, it is likely that Andrea installed the monument prior to his death in 1408.
  • [b] Though it is unclear how Niccolò Colucci descended from the Tazzi, he renovated the tomb in the early seventeenth century, naming himself as heir.
  • [c] Rosselli may have inadvertently split his tomb description from its inscription, suggesting the presence of two tombs rather than one. This would explain why tomb 340 has no coat of arms drawn or inscription given and why tomb 341 has no mention of the tomb's components, as per Rosselli's standard recording practice.
