[a] While Stefano Rosselli notes this tomb was dedicated by Francesco Soldi and Giovanni Guidotti together in 1553, later records indicate only the latter's name. It is possible that when the tomb was restored in 1617 by Antonfrancesco Guidotti, Giovanni's son, that he removed Soldi's name from the inscription, though did not add his own.
[b] According to Rosselli, his name was in the original tomb inscription, a fact not recorded in the Carmine's Libro Padronati
