Notes

  • [a] Though the sepoltuari only indicate Guido Gucci's acquisition of the S. Croce cemetery tomb from the heirs of Chiarino di Davanzato, a marker now at the Museo Stibbert may have been commissioned by him to adorn it. It is peculiar, however, that neither its arms nor its inscription were recorded in later sepoltuari, and the arms do not seem to be in the Ceramelli Papiani archive.
