Notes

  • [a] Stefano Rosselli describes the arms as large (Arme grande di pietra)
  • [b] The tomb that honored Puccio and his brother, and Lapo di Rinuccino, presumably a cousin, may have been set up around the time that Puccio drew up his testament. The tombstones at San Pancrazio were removed in 1883.
  • [c] The tomb was dedicated to his father and uncle and another relative and all of their unnamed sons. His testament of 1379, as reported in the Priorista Mariani, noted his residence in this parish, and it thus seems likely he was buried in its church.
