Notes

  • [a] The original tomb seems to have been installed in the early fifteenth century, and it was destroyed before 1907.
  • [b] Stefano Rosselli notes that the marker is a "quadra di pietra," or squared stone.
  • [c] In 1907, Edoardo Marchionni drew a ground plan of Santa Croce annotating all of its pavement tombs according to Stefano Rosselli's numbering system. This tomb had been lost by that time.
