Notes

  • [a] Stefano Rosselli knew of this tomb-with-painting memorial from a sepoltuario dated 1580 but noted that the painting was not visible in 1657.
  • [b] The paintings above the tomb carried a coat of arms that appears to belong to the Bonizi family. Rosselli could not see the pictures, but he noted that the tomb had a symbol of two linked bars or shackles and nothing else.
  • [c] Stefano Rosselli, based on a 1580 sepoltuario, links the tomb with the frescoes above that carried arms resembling those of the Bonizi family.
