  • [a] Stefano Rosselli describes the coat of arms over the door as large (Arme grande) and old (antica), suggesting that the Baldovini del Pannocchia family may have endowed the sacristy around the same time as their family chapel in the church, which was at the opposite end of the sanctuary to the left of the high altar.
  • [b] Rosselli describes a large, "ancient" coat of arms above the doorway to the sacristy and indicates that this family had patronage rights over it.
