Annunziata 133 tomb of fra Jacopo d'Antonio Federighi:

Notes

  • [a] According to Alana O'Brien, upon the dismantling of Pietro Perugino's high altarpiece, Jacopo Federighi acquired the image of the Deposition for his altar just to the right of the high altar, whose expenses were funded with his 100-scudo endowment.
  • [b] Stefano Rosselli, with great disgust, laments that the Federighi chapel was torn down by the Servite friars and its altarpiece by Pietro Perugino was sold around 1650. See ASFi, 624, p. 5 and 625, p. 1280.
