Notes
[a] Fronte was the last in the family line and was buried in the family tomb with his coat of arms; through female relatives the tomb passed to the Parigi family but had disappeared by 1655
[e] Vincenzo drew up his first will in 1575 and another on February 25th, 1587 shortly before his death. Given that his tomb inscription carries no date, it seems likely that it had been established around or before the writing of his first testament.
[f] Vincenzo was buried in 1587, and the tomb was transferred to the Compagnia dello Scalzo before Della Foresta wrote his sepoltuario some time between 1602 and 1616. Only Stefano Rosselli makes a note of its existence in his 1657 sepoltuario after describing the Scalzo memorial.
