Notes

  • [a] Lanfredino's birth date was reported as November 11th, 1456 to Tratte officials in 1470 (see also Arrighi), but city baptismal records show that Lanfredino was baptized the next year on November 14th, 1457. His record includes a marginal pointing finger but does not indicate why his baptism had been singled out for attention.
  • [b] Arrighi reports Lanfredino's death on October 20th, 1520, but does not note where in Florence he was buried.
  • [c] Given that his son Bartolomeo was buried in the family chapel, it seems quite likely that Lanfredino was as well.
  • [d] Lanfredino was baptized from the parish of San Jacopo Soprarno, the same parish from which he baptized his two sons in 1497 and 1503.
  • [e] Given that Lanfredino was born in the parish of San Jacopo Soprarno and baptized his two sons there, he was most likely living in the same house at his death on October 20th, 1520
