  • [a] Leonardo was registered as deceased when he was drawn for the Twelve in 1417. He was drawn several more times that year, and continued to have his name pulled through 1430.
  • [b] According to Passerini (p. 463), Leonardo was Capitano del popolo in Pistoia in 1412.
  • [c] Given that his uncle and namesake Leonardo di Bindo founded the chapel and accompanying tomb, and that his son Tuccio made a large bequest to the chapel, it seems highly likely that Leonardo was buried in the family tomb.
