Notes

  • [a] Lisa de'Bardi and her five sons were living together in a house co-owned with Duccio, who filed a separate declaration, suggesting that the Ermellina Agolanti added as married to Matteo in a Carte Mariani Dei tree was Duccio's mother.
  • [b] A tree in the Carte Mariani Dei (insert 1, line A) has an added notation under the name Lisa de Bardi, indicating that Matteo may have been married first to Ermellina di Zanobi Agolanti, who may have been his eldest son, Duccio's mother. Further indication is that Duccio was living separately from his brothers and father's widow in 1427.
  • [c] Duccio claimed one-seventh of a house in the parish of S. Maria Nipotecosa in his 1427 catasto declaration. The other six parts were claimed by his brothers and father's widow.
