  • [a] Given that Rosselli described the tomb in this chapel as very old (molto antico), the dell'Antella may have been the patrons of this chapel from the inception of the rebuilt parish church.
  • [b] Giuseppe Richa notes that Cosimo dell'Antella made a gift to this altar in 1607 as recorded in a notarial document drawn up by ser Giuseppe Barni.
