Notes

[a] The inscription on the tomb carries the date 1400, the year of death for the two honorees: Buono di Bese Busini and his nephew Bernardo di Tommaso Busini, however, the slab was not installed until after 1439.
[b] It seems that Niccolò di Buono Busini, heir to his father's gravesite, installed the dedicatory slab honoring his father and his cousin, Bernardo di Tommaso, who both seem to have died in 1400.
[c] Niccolò was noted as the owner of the tomb in the 1439 sepoltuario, but the slab he commissioned was not in place until after that year.
