Notes

[a] Rosselli describes this tomb, found at the foot of the small east-end altar installed by Bishop Ugolino Martelli in 1520, as a small stone (piccolo lastroncello) without any signs. It may have been designated for parish burials.
[b] Given that the tomb was under the altar and its dedicatory inscription, it likely was part of the commission by Bishop Ugolino Martelli, even though it carried neither arms nor text.
