Notes

  • [a] As noted in a plaque, the tomb of Francesco Ferrucci was moved from its original location in the church of San Girolamo in Fiesole to that city's cathedral. It is possible, however, that it had been taken down from the wall earlier because Stefano Rosselli only described the tomb cover in the floor and made no mention of the remainder of the monument.
  • [b] Though a family tree in the Carte Pucci gives Francesco's date of death as April 30, Sandro Bellesi notes his burial in S. Girolamo on May 29.
