Text as transcribed by Rosselli autograph with ellipses filled in by copyist (Lorenzo Mariani or Giovanni Battista Dei)
When a chapel had been built by his ancestors in this previous church, afterwards with it being enlarged, it had been destroyed, Francesco Giovanni, son of Vanni, set it up in the year of our Lord 1364 with ministers of the sacraments, so that he might take on the rebuilt chapel of the holy college with its expenses, which, in fact, Francesco and Niccolò Giovanni sons of Tommaso inherited in the year 1459. But now Giovanni Battista, son of Pierfrancesco, and Benedetto, son of Benedetto, descendants of these men, heirs of his pious will, claimed the right of possessing of the chapel in the year of our Lord 1569.
