Niccolosa, daughter of maestro Giovanni di Francesco medico and widow of Buonaccolto di Filippo di Lapo, named her daughter Caterina as her heir in a will drawn up by ser Domencio di Matteo Dati at a date left unspecified in the Priorista Mariani. A notation in one of several copies of the Santa Croce sepoltuario makes clear that her husband was of the family variously known as the Malescotti, Baldovinetti, or Bonaccolti.
