[a] According to Vanna Arrighi, Bishop Bindo Rustichelli (Guidotti or Ferrucci) was buried in the cathedral in August 1421, what is unclear is whether he was placed in the grave refurbished in 1589 by Battista Mattia Ferrucci, who believed himself to be one of Bindo's descendants.
