Notes

  • [a] Though the tomb still survives, the inscription and arms are so abraded that they are practically illegible.
  • [b] Francesco di Piero di M. Giovanni Dini moved to the Leon Nero district no later than 1439 when he was placed in its sortition purse for the Sixteen, which he served in early 1441. According to the Priorista Mariani completed in 1722, Giuseppe Maria d'Agostino Dini was living in Borgo di Santa Croce.
  • [c] The Priorista Mariani places the Dini in the S. Felice parish, and the family's first three priors served the Ferza district between 1370 and 1436.
  • [d] Dino di S. Cenni moved from Vicchio di Rimaggio to Florence and settled in the parish of S. Felice in Piazza.
