  • [a] Francesco's widow Nicholaia was living with there son Guasparre in 1427, who declared her as a dependent (bocca) in his catasto declaration.
  • [b] Given that Francesco's son Guaspare was listed as the tomb's owner in the 1439 Santa Croce sepoltuario, he must also have had rights to it, and likely was buried there himself.
  • [c] Following Rosselli's mistake, Iacopino assigns the Santa Croce nave tomb to Francesco rather than his son Guasparre.
  • [d] Rosselli erroneously gave the Santa Croce nave tomb to Francesco, but it honored his son Guasparre, whose name at the top of the slab had been worn away.
