MDCCLVII Eternal Sacred Monument. The patronage of this shrine, once dedicated to the Mother of God and to Saint Julian, and now rightly to the miracle of the Body of Christ by the whole city most piously, a voluntary transfer by the patrician clan of the house of the Zati in Florence to this convent of nuns in the year 1492. Lest the memory of such munificence of ancient times be erased, the ancestral coat of arms of that family, which had been removed in the restoration of this temple, Count Gaetano, son of Senator Jacopo of the Zati, a patrician Florentine, took care that it be placed here again in the year 1757.
